A Hungarian film week is taking place alongside an event marking the 125th anniversary of the birth of Béla Bartók, a concert given by the renowned Bartók Quartet under the title "Hungary and the Finns". The programme's main events are to take place in Finland's famous glass museum.
Since 1995, Hungary has staged a cultural series every year in a different Finnish town. Among the guests invited to the festival, which closes on March 24, are representatives of Riihimaki's sister city, Szolnok, in eastern Hungary.
