The festival's musical programme will feature several popular groups including Hungary's rock band Beatrice, the Hot Jazz Band, and folk band Kalaka.
The programme will also include folk-dance shows, wine-tasting and culinary events. Visiting children will find entertainment in the puppet theatre or with the festival's story-tellers.
The festival's patrons will be Laszlo Tokes, vice-president of the European Parliament, Romania's Culture Minister Hunor Kelemen - both ethnic Hungarians - as well as Geza Szocs, Hungary's state secretary of cultural affairs.
