Dolina was one of more than 300 films from 90 countries shown at the festival, which took place on March 13-21.
Just a few weeks earlier, Dolina cinematographer Gábor Medvigy received an award for his work on the film at the Fantasporto International Film Festival in Portugal. Medvigy also received an acknowledgment for his work on Dolina at the Manaki Brothers Film Festival in Bitola, Macedonia, in 2007.
Dolina will next show at the goEast! Film Festival in Wiesbaden, Germany. It will be on the programme of a film festival in Syracuse, New York, in early May.
Dolina features the actors Adriano Giannini, Piroska Molnár, Stefania Rivi, János Derzsi, Ioana Abur, Milán Vajda, János Bán, Zsolt Trill, Mari Törőcsik, Coca Bloos, Gábor Kocsó, and Erika Molnár.
