Hungarian Directors on Vienna Festival Programme

 Disgrace
Mundruczó is bringing Disgrace, based on the novel of the same name by Nobel Prize-winner J.M. Coetze, to the festival.

The production forces audiences to consider the ?fallout from colonialism and assumed cultural supremacy?, the festival organisers say.

Schilling will come to Vienna with Crisis Trilogy III: The Priestess. In the play, he uses 15 young people from Transylvania and three actors to tell the story of an actress from Budapest who moves to a village to teach theatre to schoolchildren ? ?playfully, unconventionally, boldly?.
