The image, affixed to the stairs since July 19, is expected to communicate the variety of the museum?s collection to visitors.

The painting was lent to the museum for an indefinite period of time by Mathias and Eva Forberg in 2007. It is one of several Moholy-Nagy works in the Forberg collection.

A reproduction of Monet?s Water Lilies was the first picture to be applied to the stairs.
