The awards ceremony was held on Saturday evening. Director Roland Vranik's film Transmission received the Silver Melies award and Arpad Sopsits's The Seventh Circle received the Black Tulio award.
Transmission follows the unusual adventures of three brothers - Henrik, Vilmos and Otto - as they try to adjust to communication-free environment where no computer screens or TV monitors work. The film has been shortlisted for the Golden Melies award, to be granted by the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation in October.
The Seventh Circle tells the story of a group of teenagers trying to make sense of their existence.
