The exhibition will be opened by Péter György, a lecturer at Eötvös Loránd University, followed by a programme of music and video projections.
?24 minutes? refers to the time difference between Budapest and Berlin ? the sun rises 24 minutes earlier in Budapest than it does in Berlin. The exhibition presents the works of 16 young artists, seven from Berlin and seven from Budapest, as well as two others who call both cities their home. In addition to paintings, sculptures, photography and graphic works, the exhibition includes installations.
?24 Minutes ? Young Artists from Berlin and Budapest? runs from July 20 until August 13.
The Tűzraktér is located at Tűzoltó u. 54-56, in District IX, a short walk from the Klinikák station on the blue underground line.
