Among the crowd were Hungarian expatriates as well as local jazz enthusiasts.

Soul-jazz diva Natalie Williams, who has Hungarian roots, joined the Smárton Trio for two songs.

"This is the second time that we have played at Pizza Express thanks to organisers Bolygó Music. This was a great opportunity for us, as we had the chance to introduce ourselves at one of the world's best known jazz clubs, which has also hosted Diana Krall, Jamie Cullum and Sting," Sárik said.

Sárik's song I'll catch you finished third in the 2008 International Songwriting Competition.
