The exhibition, entitled In The Wake of Caravaggio, will be opened by Hungarian ambassador to Italy János Balla.
The show, in the museum of the Inquisitor?s Palace, was organised by Heritage Malta, the Hungarian embassy in Rome and the gallery Opus 64.
Caravaggio lived in Malta near the end of his short life, creating there some of his most important works.
The show runs until August 19.
