English

Arrangements for his funeral will be made at a later date.

Csernus studied under Aurél Bernáth at Budapest's Art Academy, from where he graduated in 1952. In 1964, he moved to Paris, where he lived until his death.

Though Csernus had several big foreign exhibitions, his first exhibition in Hungary did not take place until 1989, when his work was shown in the Műcsarnok. Budapest's Kogart House showed a retrospective of Csernus's works in 2006.
