Bokor added that the paintings -- Albrecht Altdorfer's Crucifixion of 1512 and Giovanni Boltraffio's Madonna and Child of 1508 -- will be exhibited in the Los Angeles museum next spring, when the necessary repairs have been completed.
The Getty Foundation and the Museum of Fine Arts signed a co-operation agreement for restoration projects three years ago.
