György will team up with Italian DJ Karmatronic to play the accompaniment ? based on motifs by Chopin ? for a performance by several hundred dancers.

?We wanted to create something with which we could bring the traditions of classical music represented by Chopin to the world of sporting events,? said György. ?The mission is not just to bring together two very different worlds, but to popularise classical music in this extraordinary environment,? he added.

?Some people say we have to break down the walls between classical and popular music. I would say we don?t need to break them down, because there are no walls. My goal is to show that music is a language that can communicate our thoughts and emotions better than any other way in this world; it is simply music, with a message to deliver and with emotions to explain,? György says on his homepage.

György is no stranger to the sport, playing football on a daily basis for teams in Budapest and New York, where he has spent time lately promoting his new album Adam Gyorgy Plays Liszt, Bach and Mozart.
