Palojtay, who played Schumann?s Piano Concerto in A Minor, Op. 54, shared the prize with the Georgian Tamar Beraia.
 
Second prize went to the Korean pianist Ah Ruem Ahn.
 
The jury decided not to award a first prize.
 
Palojtay graduated from the Liszt Academy of Music in the spring of 2011. There he studied under Gábor Csalog, Márta Gulyás, András Kemenes and Imre Rohmann. He is continuing his studies in Stuttgart.
