In the play, an old woman is burgled by her cousin, who is searching for family heirlooms.
Pandora's Box is not a crime story, there is no murder, rather it is about people fighting for the past, Thuróczy says of the play.
Thuróczy said her plays are better known in Romania than in Hungary. Thursday's Celebration, translated by Anamaria Pop, premiered in Bucharest, but is has also been performed by the Comédie-Francaise in Paris.
Thuróczy, who is the dramaturge at the National Theatre in Pécs, has written 34 plays, of which 13 have been performed in Hungary.
