The contest is the main event of the International Ceramics Festival, held every three years ?with the aim of supporting the growth of the ceramics industry and the enhancement of culture through the global exchange of ceramics design and culture?. This year?s festival is the ninth.
Almost 6,000 submissions were made in this year?s contest. From these, the jury picked 160 that point to the future of ceramics.
Zoltán Takács won the Honourable Mention in the ?ceramic arts? category of the competition.
