The Yorick Studio of Targu Mures will perform Csaba Székely?s Bányavirág, directed by Aba Sebestyén; GroundFloor Group, another independent theatre, will bring Dívák, a dance performance directed by Ferenc Sinkó, to the stage; and the State Hungarian Theatre of Cluj-Napoca together with the dramAcum group will perform Verespatak.
Festival director Miki Branistea told the Hungarian-language paper Krónika it was important to include Hungarian performances on the programme because of the extraordinary dynamism of Hungarian theatre in Romania. Audiences have to get to know this, he added.
There are nine theatre productions and six dance performances on the festival programme. There will also be workshops, roundtable talks and exhibitions.
