Till won the prize in the International Short Film Competition for Beast. The jury presented the prize for the director?s ?ability to portray a brutal situation with the courage that is rarely seen in cinema?.

Beast shows audiences the lives of a poor family in a Hungarian village, focusing on the father, a farmer, who oppresses those nearest and dearest to him.

?Beast assumes the proportions of a drama set in a stifling atmosphere of village hell where the fate of excellent, full-blooded characters is determined by the brutal realities of their lives from the very start,? the festival organisers say.
