The centre, which recently moved into a new headquarters in Oberpullendorf, will launch a Hungarian language course for children from 4 to 10 years of age in mid-January. It will also start organising trips to Hungarian theatres.

"We will of course continue to offer our traditional events but it always helps to add something new," said society chairman József Hofer.

The society expects to organise trips to the theatres of Kőszeg and Sopron as well as the Cave Theatre of Fertőrákos, all in western Hungary.

The society will continue events it has organised for years, such as the Hungarian Ball in February, excursions for Saint Stephen Day in August, the Wine Harvest March in Kőszeg and the Advent Concert.

The society will also have an open-doors day at its new headquarters.
