The 152-member troupe performed Tosca 16 times in cities including Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. The tour?s success produced an invitation to start talks on another tour which could take place in 2008.
The title role was sung by guest artist Jane Eaglen, alongside Gyöngyi Lukács, Eszter Sümegi, Szilvia Rálik and Gabriella Felber. Anatoli Fokanov, Béla Perencz and Oleg Bryjak sang Scarpia; and István Kovácsházi, Attila Fekete and José Sempere sang Cavaradossi. The performances were conducted by János Kovács, Gergely Kesselyák and Tomomi Nisimoto.
