Two more of Csanádi's stage designs, for productions of Peer Gynt and The Intolerable, were among the top 50 submissions in the contest. Csanádi was the only contender to have three submissions picked for the finals.
All three sets were made for productions directed by Gárdonyi Theatre head Tibor Csizmadia.
The World Stage Design 2009 exhibition was held as part of the profession's world congress. It drew more than 1,000 submissions in set design, costume and lighting categories.
The next exhibition will take place in a European city in 2013.
