The documentary, called The Invisible Bird Photographer, shows the ends Máté will go to capture images of elusive wildlife. The work of Aranyszem Prize-winner Zsolt Tóth and Attila Dávid Molnár, the documentary was filmed over a period of about six months.
Máté recently won the Eric Hosking Award of the Veolia Environmental Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition, a prestigious contest for professionals and amateurs organised by London's Natural History Museum and BBC Wildlife Magazine.
Máté won the prize for the fourth time, establishing a new contest record. The young photographer has submitted 35 photographs to the competition since 2001, wining acknowledgements every year but one.
