Hungarians Participate at Tel Aviv Film Festival

Short films by two Hungarian Theatre and Film Academy students have been picked for the competition: Mór György Kárpáti?s Midnight and Gábor Reisz?s Somebody?s Something.

 
Simon Szabó?s Paper Planes, which won the prize for newcomer at last year?s Hungarian Film Week, will be screened twice at the festival. The director will answer questions after both showings.
 
Kornél Mundruczó, whose film Tender Son ? The Frankenstein Plan competed in Cannes this year, will hold a masterclass on Wednesday. The director is also a member of the festival jury.
 
Bálint András Kovács, who teaches film history and film analysis at the Hungarian Theatre and Film Academy, will hold a course on film theory during the week.
