Dávid Szigetvári, a 2009 graduate of the Liszt Academy of Music, took first prize in the contest?s voice category. The young musician won an Artisjus Prize for his performance of contemporary works in 2006.
Ditta Rohmann, who graduated from the Liszt Academy in 2005, won second prize in the violoncello/Baroque violoncello category. She was also awarded the Special Prize of the Musikgesellschaft C. Ph. E. Bach Frankfurt (Oder). Rohmann won a Junior Prima prize in 2011.
The 28th Bach Competition Leipzig took place on July 4?14. Competition categories were organ, voice and violoncello/baroque violoncello.
