(MTI) - The Hungarian cultural institute in Brussels will feature ethnic Hungarian folk music from Ukraine, Slovenia and Romania on Wednesday afternoon and some of the best Hungarian wines from the Carpathian basin will be served to guests.

Hussars will raise the Hungarian and Polish flags in the Mini-Europe Park in Brussels on Thursday morning, demonstrating that Poland will follow Hungary in the post of EU president from July. The park will host further Hungarian events, food and wine tasting, and presentations throughout the weekend.

Budapest Mayor Istvan Tarlos and deputy Prime Minister Tibor Navracsics will attend a large concert in Berlin featuring renowned Hungarian lyric soprano Andrea Rost and pianist Zoltan Kocsis performing works by Bartok and Kodaly, followed by a concert of the Budapest Klezmer Band on Wednesday evening.

The concert will be held on the square in front of the Brandenburg Gate on the occasion of Budapest and Berlin signing a partnership agreement 20 years ago. It will also feature the popular Polish harmonica trio Motion to mark the takeover of the EU presidency by Poland.
