Hungary will be represented on the festival programme by Barabás Lőrinc Eklektric, who will play at the Serbian Cultural Institute on November 23.

Jazzycolors was established in 2002 by former director of the Czech Cultural Institute in Paris Michaël Wellner-Pospisil. He oversaw the programme for its first four years until returning to the Czech Republic. When Wellner-Pospisil left, he asked Hungarian cultural institute director András Ecsedi-Derdák to take over the task of organising the festival with the participation of other national cultural institutes in the French capital. Ecsedi-Derdák is overseeing the festival for the third year in a row.
