Some 10,000 people are expected to attend the festival, which offers 120 screenings and a wide range of related programmes. During the screenings, 50 European feature films will be presented, six of which will be shown for the first time.
The jury will be headed by Oscar-winner Hungarian director Istvan Szabo.
