Hungary-Poland friendship to be celebrated in Warsaw

Istvan Gordon said that the friendship day had been established by an agreement between the parliaments of the two countries four years ago, in memory of Hungary's receiving over 100,000 Polish refugees after the outbreak of WWII.

   
On the same day, a joint commemoration will be held in Budapest by Hungarian President Laszlo Solyom and Lech Kaczynski, his Polish counterpart, the director said.
