"The view in Hollywood of Hungary's film industry services is very high," said Erzsebet Toth, the head of the Hungarian Film Foundation (MMKA).
The aim of the Los Angeles "Save in Hungary" event organised by ITD Hungary and MMKA in the Santa Monica convention centre is to solidify trust in the country's film industry and promote the favourable tax regime secured by Hungary's film law, she added.
Also at the top of the agenda was a presentation of the film industry's high-class infrastructure, she added.
Representatives of all the major American TV and film studios as well as several major independents attended the event.
