The new album is the result of much hard work in the studio and cooperation with some internationally-known names. Contributors on the new album include Jeremy Thompson ,a.k.a. MC Jaz, JC001, who has worked together with Sting and George Clinton, and linguist-cum-activist Noam Chomsky. It also features zither player Mikós Lukács, harmonica player György Ferenczy and, for the first time, singer Juli Kása, who has replaced Juci Németh.
With its new material, the band has to come forward with a harder and more powerful sound founded on dancehall and hiphop and combined with Roma-folk. The CD is being released by new Hungarian independent label CLS Records.
The concert on the A38 ship will also feature new talents Esclin Syndo and Beat Dis scratch master DJ Owa. Esclin Syndo, formed in 2003, define their style as industrial electro-metal. With the rich voice of female lead Dalma Berger and the band?s elaborate rhythms, Esclin Syndo has been compared to British bands Goldfrapp and Moloko. The band recently won the ABC talent search competition in Hungary and also made it to the contest?s semi-finals in Vienna.
