Improved Festival Subsidy Scheme Expected

Hungary's current system for subsidising festivals is not transparent enough, department head at the ministry Mária Silkó Szurmai told the paper. There is no standard system for awarding festivals subsidies, nor is there a registry of the some 300 festivals that take place each year in Hungary, she said.
