Intercultural Dialogue on Programme in July

Hungary's Southern Great Plains Region, will show off its connections with Serbia and Romania, with which it shares borders, as part of a programme called Cultural Triangle.

 
The city of Győr, in northwest Hungary, will present Hungary's cultural links with Ireland at the Walter Lynch Irish Festival on July 11-13. On the programme are Hungarian and Irish dance performances, crafts, film screenings and a beer and whiskey tasting.
 
Between July 27 and 31, the 12th annual International Cultural Week in Pécs (ICWIP) will be held southwest Hungary. The week will include a festival, a conference, concerts, exhibitions and a parade.
 
 The city of Debrecen, in the eastern Hungary, will host an international chorus festival that aims to show how music can build bridges between other cultures on July 27-31. Guests at the festival will come from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Estonia and the Netherlands.
 
The city of Dévaványa, in southeast Hungary, will host the International Drum Festival for the seventh time between July 31 and August 3.
