The programme, scheduled for August 2 and 3, will feature concerts, theatre performances, film screenings and roundtable discussions. Performers will include the Golem Jewish Theatre, the Budapest Jewish Troupe, Srayem, Nigun, HaGesher, the Israeli-Hungarian Udrub and Israel?s Shaibate. The Israeli film HaHesder (Time of Favour) will also be shown.
The events will take place in the village of Taliándörögd. Also during the programme, Budapest?s retired chief rabbi József Schweitzer will open the newly restored Jewish cemetery in Kapolcs, the Valley of Arts centre.
