Károlyi Castle Restoration Continues

The castle's wings have already been renovated and converted into 20 guest rooms and a cafeteria with a 200-meal capacity at a cost of several hundred million forints. The castle's garden and fountain has also been restored to its former glory. The Ferenc Fejtő Foundation has put up money to refurbish the castle's chapel and establish a 7,000-volume research library.

 
The castle regularly hosts cultural events and children's programmes. It also serves as a venue for conferences and is becoming an increasingly popular tourism destination.
 
It will cost HUF 1.5 billion to complete the castle's renovation.
