The exhibition follows ones of Kepes's works at the Hungarian Culture Institute in New York and the Hungarian Institute in Paris.
Kepes bequeathed his estate to the Hungarian city of Eger, which put his works in the Vitkovics Museum. The museum recently underwent a renovation and there are plans for it to host performances and other programmes.
The foundation which runs the museum wants to publish an illustrated biography of Kepes in several languages by 2012. The publication will be timed to coincide with an exhibition of the artists' works at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest.
