During the course of the festival, a concert will take place every evening at one of four venues: in the Parish Church on the city?s main square, in the Balaton Theatre, in the Carmelite Basilica and on the shores of Lake Balaton.

The concerts will feature the master class leaders as well as the Hungarian opera singer Andrea Rost andthe Brazilian tenor Eric Herrero. The Hungarian László Fassang will perform on the organ and Gábor Majsai and the Seventeen Big Band will team up for a colourful show.

Vivaldi?s The Four Seasons and Oratorio Gloria will be interpreted by the Rotunda Song Ensemble and the Concerto Filharmonia under the baton of Lázár Balogh.

The soprano NatáLia Bálint, a native of Keszthely and the festival?s manager, will perform a concert of works by the Hungarian composers Ferenc Erkel, Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály, as well as by Karl Goldmark, another native of Keszthely.

The master class, at which seven students from around the world will participate, is led by the opera singer Sylvia Sass and the French director, actor and singer Thierry Pillon. The pianist Miklós Harazdy will contribute. Visitors are welcome to watch the work underway at the master class to be held in the Parish Church.

The master class participants ? the Hungarians Júlia Bányai, Katalin Peidl, Orsolya Ferencz and Éva Fehér, as well as Fabienne Bes from France, the South Korean Yeong-Mi Spaak and the Czech Vera Likérová ? will show off their skills at the festival?s closing concert on August 13.
