The line-up will include András Kispál on guitar, András Lovasi on bass and vocals and Gábor Brautigan on drums ? three of the four musicians who founded Kispál és a Borz in 1987. The fourth founding member, bass player Rezső Ózdi, will also feature as a guest at some of the concerts on the ?Original? tour.
Lovasi described how the idea for the tour came about: ?Brautigam has been helping us out at rehearsals when Mike (Michael Zwecker, the band?s current drummer) is busy and so came the idea ? after the old flavours returned - that we should get back together for a few gigs and see how it feels to play songs in the original format.?
The band will play mainly material from their first four albums on the tour. The band has recorded nine LPs, seven concert albums, soundtracks and several maxis since their first album, ?Naphoz holddal? (To The Sun With The Moon), was released in 1991.
The tour will start in Komoča, in Slovakia. Next the band will play in Őriszentpéter, in western Hungary, and in Mezőtúr in the southeast. Other cities on the tour include Pécs, Budapest, Sopron, Debrecen and Szeged.
The show in Szeged, to take place during Szeged Youth Days (SZIN), will be especially important for the band: the university town was home to Kispál és a Borz?s biggest fan base outside of Budapest when the band first started up.
