Architect and project leader Szabolcs Somlai-Fischer showed an audience at the Royal College of Art the media lab's non-hierarchical organisation and the projects it has produced, said Katalin Ildikó Takács, the director of the Hungarian Cultural Centre in London.
The presentation was held with the cooperation of the Royal College of Art's curator department. It was organised and moderated by Eszter Steierhoffer, who is in the department's master course.
Kitchen Budapest, opened in June 2007, defines itself as a new media lab for young researchers who are interested in the convergence of mobile communication, online communities and urban space and are passionate about creating experimental projects in cross-disciplinary teams.
