The six-member orchestra, whose only instruments are laptops, will play an eclectic mix of electronic music, including a new composition prepared with the help of two composer from the previous stop on their tour, the Czech Republic. A composition by the Hungarian Kristóf Wéber will be rehearsed in Pécs (a public rehearsal will also take place) and performed at the next stop on the tour. Thus the ensemble will share a series of works in a chain of performances in Ústí nad Labem (Czech Republic), Osijek (Croatia), Timisoara (Romania), Sibiu (Romania) and Ruse (Bulgaria), as well as in Pécs.
The project is supported by the Robert Bosch Foundation and the Goethe Institute. The concert in Pécs is also part of the run-up to 2010, when Pécs will become a European Capital of Culture.
