The orchestra will play a Mozart programme at seven stops on the tour. Venues will include the Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo and the Opera City Hall.
The concerts will feature young Japanese guest soloists, including flautist Ayako Takagi, violinist Shion Minami, pianist Yoko Kikuchi and soprano Aiko Nakajima.
The tour will wind up on January 31.
