The latest instalment of the journal's European Union - Our Neighbours and Friends series has a forward by Hungary's ambassador to Estonia József Víg. It includes works by the Hungarian authors István Örkény, Pál Békés and Sándor Kányádi, as well as others. It also features the writing of important Estonian authors on Hungary. Interviews with Mária Éva Varga on research in Russian archives and with the director Tamás Tóth about his film plans in Russian and Estonia will round out the issue.
The issue will be presented by editor-in-chief Lyudmila Gluskovskaya and the translator Tatiana Voronkina at the Hungarian Institute in Tallinn on September 18.
