More than 40 artists from as far away as the United States, Russia and Vietnam will participate at this year?s symposium. Among them are several first-time participants, including Yoshimi Hiroshi from Japan, Deniz Hasenöhrl from Germany, and Zoltán Székács and Jakab Péter Szőke from Budapest.
The symposium will open with concerts by the Tiborcz Trio jazz ensemble and the Nagykanizsa Mixed Choir.
The symposium will have an open-doors day on June 10. In the evening, the artist and filmmaker Ferenc Czakó will demonstrate sand animation.
The symposium will close with the opening of an exhibition of work created by participants during their stay in southwest Hungary.
