Madách Theatre Shows Chicago for Hundredth Time

In the lead roles for the performance were Eszter Balla, Nikolett Gallusz, Judit Ladinek, Csaba Debreczeny, László Lippai, Béla Szerednyey, Zoltán Barabás Kiss and Ági Kökényessi.

The musical, with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, premiered in Budapest on April 28, 2001. The libretto was translated by György G. Dénes and the production was directed by Tamás Szirtes.

Madách Theatre press officer Zsolt Gréczy said the theatre was planning a special performance of pieces from the best musical productions put on in Hungary over the last 45 years on December 21. Because of big demand for tickets for the show, called ?We are the Musical?, the theatre has added another performance in January.
