Landscaping around the new spa is finishing up and machinery and equipment will be installed starting next week, said mayor Péter Buzás.

A fire at the construction site at the end of August caused far less damage than initially thought, he added.

The 12,000-square-metre spa is defined by Makovecz?s curved cupola, graceful columns and vaulted ceilings. Giant windows draw out the space?s wooden surfaces with natural light.
