Felméri?s 13-minute film shows what King Matthias ? Mátyás király ? Hungary?s ?renaissance king? means to the residents of the city of his birth, Cluj Napoca, today pat of Romania. The Hungarian-Romanian co-production, made in 2010, has been invited to be included on the programmes of festivals from Leipzig to Bilbao. It took the prize for best film at the Hyperion student film festival and won the acknowledgement of Magyar Televízió at Film.dok in the Romanian city of Miercurea Ciuc.
Felméri, born in 1978, got her degree from the Sapientia University in Cluj Napoca. At present, she is studying at the the National University of Theatre and Cinematography in Bucharest while teaching at the Sapientia University.
Felméri?s short Infinite Minutes was included in competition at this year?s Locarno Film Festival.
