Even though the German company which organises Mayday has undergone a change in ownership, the event, which started up in Budapest five years ago, will remain true to its original concept: techno, techno and more techno.
As many as 44 DJs will perform at Mayday, including Coyote, Adam Cro, Hot X, Dejan Milisevic vs Marko Molisvaljevic, Silicon Soul, Westbam and ATB, though the organisers reserve the right to make last-minute changes. Other acts on the programme are Jay Cortez, Frank Kvitta, the Pet Duo from Brazil, Luke Fair, Anthony Pappa, Cristian Valera, Felix Kröcher and Dave Clarke. Clarke, whose techno is mischievously rich and rebellious, dark and gothic, but at the same time funky, is among the world's top techno DJs.
