Astillero will bring wild tangos from Buenos Aires, Abdeljalil Kodssi will introduce Berber songs and rhythms from Morocco, Fláre Beás Banda and Romungro Fiúk will present the best of traditional gypsy music, and Kahriman from Chile will mix flamenco with the instruments of Central Asia. Festival-goers can hear István Lukács and Zsolt Simon, two young folk musicians form the Gyimes region. Santa Diver will bring avant-garde jazz from Budapest, and the Afro-Caribbean jazz pianist Omar Sosa will appear on stage with his Afreecanos Quartet. The saxophonist Lee Konitz, a pioneer of modern jazz who has had played concerts with Miles Davis, Elvin Jones, Charles Mingus, Ornette Coleman and Dave Brubeck, will perform and the bass guitarist Jamaaladeen Tacuma will pay tribute to the jazz great John Coltrane.
