MEDIAWAVE Takes Workshop To Turkey

The workshop will be held in Kars, an area of Turkey with a large Kurdish population. It will be attended by 13 Hungarian, two Ukrainian and one Turkish participant. They will take photographs, shoot films and perform during a local film festival entitled European Films on Wheels.

 
The delegation will be led by film director Ferenc Török, photographer Péter Szabó and MEDIAWAVE director Jenő Hartyándi.
 
The PASSPORT CONTROL 4 workshop's film department will include a number of young and talented filmmakers: Dániel Béres (Paternoster), László Csuja (Train Arriving), Gergő Somogyvári (Lanterna), Virág Zomborácz (The Cat's Role in French Literature), Tamás Király and András 'Gravi' Kiss (The Gospel of Mark).
 
The PASSPORT CONTROL International Film and Photography Workshop aims to establish bonds between young people from different regions of Europe. It focuses on involving people from disadvantaged regions and areas with ethnic minorities.
