Minister appoints two new cultural specialists for Madrid, Abu Dhabi

In the Spanish capital economist and museum-management expert Tamas Vegvari will take up his post as cultural envoy as of November 1. Vegvari has gained experience in international relations and public diplomacy and is currently deputy department secretary at the Budapest Fine Arts Museum.

 
Bela Velez, Arab studies professor, language teacher and guest university lecturer in Oman and Dubai, will begin his work in the capital of the United Arab Emirates from November.
 
Hungary created the first five similar posts for Beijing, Shanghai, Tel Aviv, Zagreb and Belgrade in August of 2007 to shape Hungary's image abroad and promote cultural and educational cooperation with the host country.
