Chief organiser Péter Köveskuti said that nine ensembles would perform at the festival, including the Ethnic Folk Dance Ensemble of Mohács, the Zora Folk Dance Ensemble and the Folk Workshop of Sátorhely, all from Hungary, as well as six foreign groups: the Ardaleana Folk Dance Ensemble from Transylvania, Beykoz from Turkey, Lechkhum from Georgia, Iskar from Bolgaria, Kud Gerdan from Macedonia and the Nagano Folklore Group from Japan.
The dancers will perform on the open-air stage of the Schneider Art School of Mohács on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. A gala performance will take place on the city?s main square on the closing day of the festival.
More than a hundred dance ensembles from 25 countries have performed at the festival since its inception.
