Mokép has sold rights to some of its films in the past, but will now be represented abroad by its own publishing company. The company will gradually enter other regions with large Hungarian minorities.
Mokép will distribute Hungarian auteur and art films that fulfil an important role in promoting culture and film.
Mokép director Balázs Gulyás said it was important that these films should reach Hungarian minorities in neighbouring countries in good quality.
